Interchangeable parts from 89-91 to 86-88?
I want to put the center console armrest/bin from a 1990 GXL, into my '86 GXL -- does this bolt on in the same place? Does the control panel surround snap into the '90 center console correctly? Many thanks to the person who can accurately answer this.

Ditto to Dave's response. Just about every trim piece (save for a a few things around the instrument cluster) should bolt/screw right in. Its just the EGI and drivetrain thats primarily different.
