Interchangeable parts

Hello I got a 91 convertible rx7 and I was curious if the ignition lock cylinder is interchangeable with the turbo rx7. Or if any parts are interchangeable for that year. In need of that ignition lock cylinder…

you can wait for confirmation, but i can't imagine a part like that would be T2-specific.

Looking on Mazdatrix's site it looks like the differences are whether the car was a manual or automatic and whether it had an airbag or not. What was actually different between each one I don't know, and also if any TII's had airbags or if that was only convertibles.

My 88 Tii has no airbags, but im pretty sure all the S5s has either automatic seatbelts or airbags
