interchangable parts

i was wondering which parts are the same for s4's because i know somone with a 88 AE and i was just wondering which parts were the same. as far as the rear ends and stuff. i was looking at a 88 t2 and noticed that what looked to be like the wire harness was on the other side. am i correct?

All the driveline stuff diif and axels and driveshaft maynot be exactly the same but the are definitly interchangeable the series 4(86-88) diffs are better anyway

explain why the s4 diffs are better? it depends on your usage! whether or not they are better or not... for auto X the s4's are better for drag racing s5's are better! (diffs)
