Unhappy inter-cooler piping

Can someone help me, I need to know if a piece of rad. hose will work to connect the turbo to the inter-cooler piping on a stock turbo set up. My two inch long connecting pipe is shot.I know the way to go is with silicone, but its to costly for 2" of pipe.(have to buy 3')

Yeah a rad hose should work, but its not the best. t might wear out pretty fast, Can't you get the OBX ones from ebay that are made for the FC for like 60 bcks or something? Or were those ones for the FD?

It'll work fine and it will not "wear out pretty fast". It's designed for the constant high temps and pressures seen in the cooling system.

If you really want silicone hose you don't need to buy a 3' length, just buy couplers. Ebay's full of them. And silicone is certainly not "the only way to go". There are plently of places that sell high quality rubber hose very cheap (engineering and hydraulic supply shops) and would probably give you an offcut for free.
