Hi everyone, I'm a new member, but not new to the RX-7. I just bought a stock '88 GXL and one of the first things I want to do to it is add an intake. My last RX-7 was an '87 GXL and I purchased a "Bonez" intake from Rotary Performance, but now I'm looking at the HKS or K&N systems from Mazdatrix. Does anyone have any advice as to which one is the better value/performance? Or the name of another product worth mentioning?

 

The Bonez one you bought will work just fine

 

I was pretty happy with that intake on my last car, but I sold the car with all the mods I did to it (except header), so I have to start from square one again. I was just wondering if anyone out there has heard any info on which is the best, or are they all the same? Thanks for replying

That looks really nice....where did you get the air box? Or did you fabricate?
