Intake questions....

I have everything I need for my intake setup except the filter. The adaptor plate I have is 2.5" I believe. Do they still make any filters with that size opening or should I just get a new 3" adaptor plate & filter to fit it? Thanks.

yo, well did you get the hks adapter? if so they only make that in 2.5" or i think its 2.75" actually anyways. i have the hks plate and have an k&n 3" inlet and it fits fine, you just clamp it down anyways. but ideally get the diameter your plate is.

I got a K&N filter and I could put the whole damn plate inside the filter. The opening in the filter was wayyy too damn big. Well I have the adaptor plate just can't seem to find a filter to fit right. This is the least of my troubles right now. My damn car is being a homo on me right now.

You can get K&N filters with a 2.5" inside diameter in Round Straight, Round Tapered, and XStream types. I'll check to see where Scott got his last filter - I think he only paid $17 for it. Here is the sizing link:
