Intake question

79 rx7-I have bridgeported TII end housings lapped and nitrated, cermet coated housings race ported, S5 N/A rotors cermet coated, Full racing beat exhaust, TII lower intake manifold. I'm just wondering what upper intake manifold would be best for a N/A 13b with this combo. I'm think a FD upper because it has a bigger throttle body and the intake has no plenum, which makes me think a better less turbulent air flow or does the plenum make a less turbulent airflow lol. The 6 port upper intake manifold looks like it would be the worst because it bends so much before it goes to the lower manifold. I dont care about low end torque, just wondering what intake would give me the best peak HP numbers. Appreciate it guys.

The FD upper does not fit a FC lower without a funky spacer/adapter that would be more of a hinderance than a gain.

This isn't true...

The FD UIM can be port matched (the runners + the bolt holes) to fit onto the S5 LIM...it just takes a bit of time..

***Not sure if the RE manifold can be fitted to the S5 LIM, but..if it can...If you really feel like spending some time AND making the best (not dyno proven) numbers, go with the Cosmo 13B-RE UIM...port matched to S5 LIM..

Just take a look at the 13B-RE UIM. It just yells "I flow!!"***
