Intake Mod Questions

I swear, this is the last topic I'll post on this subject

I'm looking at getting the Bonez Intake Kit for my 88 SE. The car itself, right now, is completely stock.

Questions:

1.) How much HP will this mod get me? I heard I would have to get new exhaust to make the difference with the intake mod.

2.) In this pic ( http://www.rx7.com/pics/fc-bonez-intake7.jpg ), I see a long silver box-like connector. The big silve thing that connects the tube and the filter. What is this? Is it on my car right now or does it come in the kit?

Thx for all your time.

Thx for all your time.

1. about 5hp on average are the gains given by an intake
2. that is the AFM(air flow meter) YES it is on your car right NOW! all FC's have an AFM if your car is an S4 you will have that aluminum one if you have an S5 you will have a black onew that is round.

BUY: intake adapter from HKS and a K&N filter from an autoparts store it will be half the price and work just as good.
