INTAKE help...

Hi guys, i replaced my stock airbox...yadda yadda yadda we see a dozen posts like this! i know cos i did a search hehe anyways:
I couldnt find anyone specifically saying how large the diameter for the breather needs to be. i found a couple of ricer breathers at a local shop but the outlet from the filter is like the size of the inside of a slurpee straw, versus the original size of the hose which is like the size of a quarter. does anyone know where to get the breather with apropriate size outlet? and how much? and can i send you a paypal to purchase me one and send it to me? hehe let me know.

Fred

What car? And what "breather"? The only thing that I can think of is the air hose for the air pump. In that case, use whatever fits (small K&N breather filter, available at almost any auto parts shop).

It's not clean looking, but if you're needing to keep the air pump you can wrap laidies (or transgender males) nylon stocking over the hole. Keeps the bigger crap out and you can't beat the price.

I know lots of guys who run nylons instead of air filters for their motors on the track.
