Intake Gasket Question....

hey guys im in the process of finishing up my motor and well i was putting the lower intake on and as i put the gasket on i noticed that everything lined up except for some hold wasnt cut out for the LIM i think you know how you have the 4 intake ports well theres these little square looking ones right under the intake ports (turbo motor) and 2 of em were cut out but the last one wasnt so i was guessing its like that but so i assembled it but now im thinking is water supposed to pass threw there freely or is that like that on purpose??? if its supposed to pass freely i could just cut that square out with a single edge....
Thanks

Water ONLY passes through the 2 oringed holes in the gasket- one of them it goes no where too. So no water isnt supposed to go through there....

Is this some Mazda OEM gasket or some POS aftermarket version?

The "square" holes are for the EGR system.
It's really not necessary to have them unless you need to pass smog...

EGR = Exhaust Gas Recirculation / Recirculating

Exhaust gases pass through there...
