can anyone confirm that the ECU see's intake temp as a constant 20º C when the sensor is unplugged?? i may just do that lol

oh, and if its the same for S5 cars, i would be doing it to the vert.

 

hey guys when i unplugged that connector on my 88 n/n s4 it makes a wierd popping sound on deceleration from 4000 and under it did not do before is that normal

 

maybe a dumb question but why doesn't it work on turbo cars?

 

You generally don't want to lie to an ecu that is controlling boost because it could eaisly lead to a condition that would pop an apex seal.

steven, the popping noise is the excess fuel exploding in your exhaust
