Intake air temp sensor

coulda bad IAT sensor could effect hot start? has this happened to anybody else? i really think it isnt my injectors, so im just looking to get any imput. is there any other way to test it than with a k ohm resistor?

check the engines compression when warm, as well at the temperature sensor found behind the water pump housing.
