Intake adapter

I read one guy on here say he got an intake adapter to put a cone filter on at autozone?

Anyone able to tell me more?

I heard the ones on e-bay can be bad. They look pretty inconsistant in design.

Which ones? The one where its still square on the inside is a pretty bad design and you'll need to port it to rounden it.

Otherwise, the other adaptor thats round already on the inside will work good. I don't see anything wrong with it.

The rx7store sells the HKS adapters for $20. They are well made and designed for proper flow. I bought one from them and I'm very happy with it. Why get a crappy one to save $5?
