Could some one please tell me where I can get an adapter for my AFM to run a cone filter on my 88TIIRX7?? I dont want to drop like $170 for the HKS I just want the adapter so I can pick up like a K&N cone filter. I know there out there but cant find a web site or any thing that sells these things

Thanks!!

filter &adapter

Hey I got a k&N style cone filter with a polished metal adapter for under 20$ shipped to my house from ebay. upon receiving this item and inspecting the filter I found that this 20$ filter is nearly identical to the 45$ or more K&N you see at stores. The bracket is just as nice. check ebay If i can recall its a company called formula 1 racing or something......at 20$ you can't go wrong!!---just my 2 cents-----ren

I would recomend only a HKS adapter. I got a E-bay one and endded up ordering the HKS one from RX7store anyways ... the HKS ones are properly tapered to resist turbulance, all the Ebay ones I have seen are all strait edges ... horrible design.

they may be a little crappy but it feels alot better knowing that you didnt just spend a bunch of money on some cotton or foam. I got the 20 dollar filter and adapter as well.
It seems to work fine. The adapter was a shiny chrome and fit pretty well. I just sprayed the filter with some K&N red lube stuff and slapped it in.
