Installing used motor for auto in a 5 speed

88 5 speed
the motor was pulled from an 88 auto.
I know I have to change the fly. what about counter weights? I don't deal with auto trannys ever, so I don't know anything about them.
Do I need to change counter weights on both the front and the rear of the motor? I am not having the motor pulled apart to have it ballanced with the manual flywheel. is that going to cause a problem?
is there anything else I should know?

From what I have read you need to get a light flywheel for it to work. I am not sure which one though or how many lbs?

I don't want to buy a light weight fly. Tehre are too many hills. I want to keep the regular flywheel that is bolted to the motor I am taking out of the 88

just remove the auto flexplate and counterweight. Install a new pilot bearing and seal (OEM MAZDA if you are smart) and install the 88 MT Flywheel. Just did the same procedure last month.

thanks. Thats what I thought, but I wanted to be sure.
but you made me think of anther thing. Is the TII throw out bearing compatible with the n/a shaft? I want something that is going to hold up. the last time I installed a clutch, the new OE bearing was squeaking 2 months later.
