Thumbs up Installing struts

I am going to be buying Tokico Illumina struts...

I would like advise on who I should have install them. I would like the person to not mess up my suspension, and do a quality job.

If any of you know of anyone in the Gastonia NC area, please let me know... OR just tell me what you think I should do.....

Thanks a lot

Charles

Do it your self.

It is seriously easy.
I've swapper a strut top before in 15 minutes while watching TV.

Just rent a spring compressor.
While the strut is in Break the top middle nut loose. DO NOT take it off!!! You just need it so you can later on remove it. If you fully take it off the spring can come flying off.

Mark the positions of the struts.(which side is in,etc)

jack car up.
Remove wheels.
remove the top 4 nuts(14mm I think).
Unbolt the strut from the brake system and remove that clip.

Pull the assembly out.
Now with the spring compressor on tighten it so you can remove the top.

Slide the strut off and put new one on.

Put back in.

An extra step you can do is then pay the $40 to get a shop to do an alignment.

If you try and get the shop to do this they will probably charge you more than the cost of the struts.
