installing a LSD

there hasn't really been a write up in installing a LSD

only one i can find is this

http://forum.teamfc3s.org/showthread...peed+2+way+lsd

and he didn't finish it

let's see

i got a Kaaz 2 way lsd
SBZ1310

Mazdaspeed differential mounts
New side carrier bearings and side seals

i heard you have to

1)Use some fueler gauges?
2)Reset the backlash
3)Preload it
4) Use dial mic
5) Use large micrometer atleast 7-8"
6) of course a press

all the shops in my area want $375-$400 if i bring the diff housing and lsd/parts to them.

im like WTF?!
the 240SX one is so easy to install!
but that is not a FC

can anyone help me, or give me some pointers?

i refuse to pay that much to install a LSD and they are not even putting it back on the car

Everything you need to know is documented very well in the FSM, far better than anyone here will be able to tell you.
