installing greddy vspl, two lines to stock ic.
installing a greddy vspl. everythings hooked up. car will start and die real fast. if i get of the gas i can get it running but it'll die when i let off throttle. tripple checked all connections. just wondering about the two lines that go to stock tmic, i capped them both off since theres no nipples on the greddy kit to plumb them to. those two important? thanks

One is for the AWS (3000rpm start) and is not important. Remove the solenoid from the UIM if you still have it. The other is for the ASV that adds air when the power steering is used. If you cap it the engine might stumble or stall when you turn the steering wheel when idling.
Capping these two lines will not cause the symptoms you describe. It sounds more like you've left the plug off the AFM.

i have the tid as tight as i can get it on. i've looked it over and dont see any cracks. both lines are plugged on the tid with the hardware that came with the greddy kit. i also made sure all clamps are tight. cant seem to find a vacuum leak, wouldnt it need to be a big leak to make it not idle/start unless gas is pressed? thanks

Was looking through old subscribed threads and thought I should reply. I reset my idle since it was slightly lower than before and also reset the TPS after installing the VSPL.

Are you asking me or the original poster? Anyways I had an aluminum TID so those 2 holes on the back are covered. For the BAC I have a small 1/8" NPT fitting. I dont think it's big enough for the airflow the BAC needs so I'll get a larger one on there in the future.
