Any videos on rebuilding the FC tranny?

Just curious. I know really nothing when it comes to transmissions (manual trannys, could care less about autos) and I want to know more, specifically on one that I intend to use, like the FC.
I have a wicked text book from high school on autmotives, its around 1000 pages and covers every system on a piston car. It gets into the tranny for about 100 pages or so, it seems complicated. Would it be a general rule of thumb to assume that an FC 5 speed tranny is similar to any other rear wheel drive cars 5 speed tranny? WIll studying the book and reading it up good be good enoughe, or would one of you guys recommend a video that I should get?

thanks.

No FC specific videos.
The engine is the only real difference between an RX-7 and any normal car... transmissions are of the same design as piston engines, and the FC tranny is even shared amongst some other mazda (piston-powered) vehicles.
Your book, coupled with the FSM and THE RIGHT TOOLS, should be all an experienced wrencher will need... other than patience.
