installin an OMP?

My car has the omp removed and i would like to put it back. All the lines are gone. To put the lines back on do i need to remove the intake manifold? Or can i squeeze them through? The space looks very small and i was just wondering if i can get the lines through.

Thanks

I just removed my omp and am very happy with it. Premixing is so much better for the motor. Just a thought. If you deside to go through with the re-install, can you let me know what the guy plugged the omp injector holes with? thanks, stephen.

Not necessarily.

Mazda is a huge corporation with lots of potential for litigation. The way I see it is that the OMP ensures that Mazda never gets sued for someone elses stupidity.

19-064A-FT01.....BOLT SE HSG+TORQ CON..PLUGS OIL INJ HOLE..... $ 3.24

^Mazdatrix part number, nice little bolt for plugging the oil injector holes.

And premixing IS better for the motor, it just will never fly on a street driven vehicle for "general public" use. "Yes, you need to fill it with gas, and add X amount of 2 stroke oil per gallon, or check this OTHER oil tank that it burns from, or... "

Mazda premixed on all their race engines. This should tell you what's better for the engine.

Like he said, you need to remove the upper intake manifold. Nobody and I mean nobody on this planet can install omp lines without removing the upper intake manifold. Search the archeives for how to replace factory omp lines with *home made* lines at a tenth of the factory cost.
