installed walbro 255 no start
Well I started my rx7 yesterday drove it into the garage and swapped the fuel pumps out. After installing everything correctly I then tried to start it after not starting after quite a few times I figured I flooded it. I tried both meathods of UN flodding still won't start. You can hear the pump priming the lines but it will crank almost start then die keeps doing that over and over. I will try to put a new set of plugs in on Friday and hopefully she will fire. Any ideas?
just because you hear fuel flowing and the pump running does not mean there is adequate fuel pressure or that the install was successful.
double check what you did, because most of the time it is simply user error.

you can rent a pressure test unit at most generic parts stores to see what the pressure is at.
i've also seen the pumps wired backwards and even the pumps wired off the low fuel/fuel level sending unit circuits which do provide about 1v which runs the pump, extremely slowly.

Also, make sure you wired the pump correctly, it can run backwards and cause a no start issue. Easily checked, turn key on and while listening to the prime, see if it sounds like someone is blowing bubbles into your fuel tank...
And these cars are notorious for flooding if you shut the engine off before the engine can properly warm up, thus starting the car for the purpose of quickly moving it and turning the car off after a few seconds of running should be avoided.
