Having window problems

Hi, my windows are not working anymore. The black button for the drivers side window was being weird and not working, but if you use a screw driver or something to flip the actual switch underneath the black button it could still roll up. At this point, the passengers side switch was working so was the passenger windows switch on the drivers side. So I asked the mechanic to ask him to use like a screw driver to make my window go up and he said okay. So I left for about an hour and came back, one of his workers had the whole master power switch out and messing around with it. And then I told him that was unesscessary so he put the whole thing back in and plug it and everything. Now the remaining 2 switch doesn't roll the windows down anymore. Did they blow a fuse or something? I mean if its wiring issues, only the drivers side switch for the passenger window shouldn't work right?

It sounds like your switch is broken. Replace it.

There is no actual switch underneath the button...

You have a pair of copper plated rocker contacts that are bent in a shape that allows it to pivot inside its retaining channel... either forward or backward onto the corresponding contact for the direction of travel desired..
