Installed New CPU....No results!

Hey guys, I put in a used cpu, cuz i was wishing itll fix the horn problem, the exterior amber lights problem (not turning on when i switch to key to ON) and some other warning buzzers the cpu is suppose to switch on....what can be the problem here? i put this cpu in n it works exactly the same way my old cpu does. ANY IDEAS? thanks guys

its possible that they are both bad, its also possible you have a blown fuse, and or something disconnected

resolder the white connector on the horn relay circuit board....worked for me

hm...ok i just got home from driving around n testing out this cpu, i then restarted the car again and the horn works an the interior key buzzers, etc...seem to work now....i think the cpu had to reset a few times to configure itself....but the exterior lights arent lighting up yet....and i dont think its goin to light up. so ive decided to make my own switch to get them on. thanks guys

cpu number..

does any one know what the number in the red circle stands for? becuz my old cpu has that number "FB05" and the new cpu's number is "FB01" i have and 86 N/A

The FB05 has a dimmer delay circuit for the key lights in the doors and at the ignition switch.

Other than that, the FB01 is the same.

Exactly what is not working? The running lights are not related to the CPU, only the turn signals, but either way should not be switching on with the key.

But it gets back to what exactly is not working?
