I find it funny that almost anything that someone cannot afford is considered ricey if it isnt a performance mod... If that were really true, the everyone w/ a GPS touch screen monitor in their car is a ricer. **** the haters... they cannot even keep up performance wise. Keep it up bro, the car is coming together nice.

That CANT happen the mounting frame wraps around the visor frame and then is secured in three places onto the monitor all screws have loctite also. It could eventually losen up but as for catastrophic failure, not possible.
I mean I'm worried about the entire assembly, which is hanging on a crappy old brittle plastic ball and socket joint held in by a couple of screws, and designed to hold something that weighs mere ounces, being stressed far beyond its design criteria and flying everywhere.

The aircon must be wired through the carputer then you just bring it up like a program

Ok, so do you make a custom harness for the wires that then plug it into a joystick port or a USB port and then where would you get the software to do it?

OK there is a port on the unit that you plug a standard off the shelf PC connector (I dont have the ubit yet and I havnt been on the site lately so I dont remember what type) that then goes to your PC in your car. Do you have one (a PC)? The unit obviously must come with supporting software. People do not sell hardware without supporting software, no one would buy it. All this info is available on the site.

Obviously to tie in to the vehicle you are going to need a custom harness, or just tie in hard.

Actually, most hardware companies often just make the hardware and contract the software out to another country (like India or the US). Most of the time in each company's native country, they will sell the software seperate from the hardware.
