inner tie rod removal FC3S Manual steering
So ive done a little research and found that manual steering FC's have a longer right passenger inner tie rod. i recently bent mine in an accident. anyways.... ive removed my broken one and am now trying to get a new one in.
ive decided to go to the junk yard and pull one off. my concern is not getting the inner tie rod off... the problem is getting it off without ruining the threads.
there is a safety pin of some type that is hammered in the steering rack to prevent the tie rod from loosening off. i dont know what to do with this pin? how do i remove this first?
has anyone done this? anyone at lucky 7 racing would like to help?

Maybe I am Wrong..But When I Glance at the Parts Fishe..the only thing that is Different is the Outer Tie Rod.On the Passenger Side of the Manual Rack. When you have Power steering you use TWO Outer tie rods that have the Same Part#..the manual rack Shows One # and then another for the Passenger side...anyhow,I am sure someone will Correct me,and It would be interesting to Know..

Haven't we ALL heard this
They are different. Might want to replace both since they do wear out. I did a write up on the removal.
