Which inner shift boot for s4 n/a trans?

I'm looking at inner shift boots on Atkins Rotary's website and they carry two that have a year/model range that would include an S4 n/a. Which one should I get for a series 4 n/a manual transmission?

81-95 Rx7 Inner Shifter Boot (M513-17-480A)
Fits all manual transmission model 12A, 13B, Turbo, & Non Turbo rx7s from 1981-1995.

Inner Dust Boot that bolts to the transmission tower.
81-92 Rx7 Inner Shifter Boot (M509-17-480A)
Fits all 81-92 Mazda Rx7s.

The second one looks more familiar to me, though it seems they both do the same thing honestly. There are two more boots to complete the set however. you have a lower insulator that bolts to the trans tunnel and you have a rubber cap of sorts that slides down over the shifter and closes the gap between the shifter and the lower insulator.

I think the M513 boot is for Miata, but it might work on RX7. The M509 boot is what I've been using. There's also another set of rubber shift boots (FB01-64-490B) that you will probably need.

My lower bushing had disintegrated so I think used the lower one and spring from this kit and a used upper one I had laying around. I think IIRC the shifter felt too tight using both bushings from the kit. One thing to note as well the rubber boot doesn't fit as tight around the shifter. Since I've yet to have a OEM Rx7 one make it more than a year before it's tore I don't see it as a problem. The also have OEM Miata ones on there as well which should work

From Mazda RX7 parts microfiche:
M509-17-480A 86-88 RX7
M514-17-480A 89-91 RX7

Don't know what M513-17-480A is for.

Ok, it looks like M513-17-480A is for an 93-95 RX7

That's the part Mazdatrix is selling for all 81-95 cars. From digging around on Jim Ellis Mazda's online parts ordering it is the part for the '93 to 2005 Miata as well. I've used it. Didn't last long term any better than the one specifically for my car. Personally I'm not paying nearly $50 for these anymore when I can buy the Miata ones for $15.

P.S. Also the 501-17-47Z is the one for the 2006 -2013 Miata and is $14.93 on Jim Ellis Mazda. That's the one I may try next time I need one.

Thanks for the input, guys. I just wanted to make sure one wasn't only for TII transmissions or something.

Does this fit? It sure would be nice to save $40 on a part that is probably gong to tear in a year anyway.

I can't say 100% but Amazon list it to fit from 1990 to 2015 Miatas. If that's true then it will fit. I'm about 99% sure it will. May be worth the $15 gamble.

I took the chance, and it fits fine.
