Injectors and SAFC

I am trying to get my motor swap running in my 10th AE. Its a jspec TII. My question is, do I need to wire up my SAFC since i have bored injectors? It starts, then i have to play with the timing to get it to idle. Once I got it idling, i drove it around the block and it kind of hesitated when i gunned it and backfired like crazy when i let off. Would the SAFC help this?

THanks
Shaun

bored injectors? did you tell them a dull story or something? If by that you mean bigger injectors, you need to find out how much bigger they are from your previous ones and tune them out with the SAFC. But that should really be done with a wideband. It sounds like its running rich as ****. Find out the size difference in the two injector sets and we can do the math to find out how much Pulse width you need to take out to get you back to stock flow levels, then add fuel as needed from there.

I bought the motor from a guy i know and the injectors came with the motor. He didn't say what size they are. All he said was they were cleaned and bored. So you are saying that without the SAFC it won't run right? I guess that would make sense.
