Question injectors

I was looking at getting some injectors from a tII to put in my 1988 SE NA. Iwas looking at high impedance injectors from a tII for the 1988-1992 years, would these work well with my mods? yes/no?

MODS:
Griffin High flow radiator 24x19
High RPM force fan
power pulleys system
test pipe cat replacementhigh flow mufflers
open k&n intake cone system

also how do i go abotu removing my air pump, what do i need to take off?? i need some detailed help, and after i am done if my actuators for the 5th and 6th ports dont open how do i wire them open? how in other words can i permanentyly make them stay open?

I don't think you need to worry about more fuel at this time. My buddy who has a good bit more mods than you found that the 550's (in the secondaries) made his car run too rich. He has had no problems with the stock injector size. He puts down ~150 - 155 RWHP.

Probably the best thing to do about the 6 ports is to either remove them or to keep the air pump and use the air pump to accuate them. There is a guy on here, (don't remember his name) but he did some sort of inserts to smooth out the air. I dunno how well it works or anything... but it might be worht looking at.

can the air pump actuate them with a test pipe instead of cat, and if the test pipe doesnt have an adapter for the smog equipments, I.E.- the reail thats runs to the back of the motor,

currently the rail that ran off the catalytic converter i have unhooked and plugged, is this ok, or do i leave it unplugged even though i cant hook it up?

again this is on a 1988 SE NA

how much rwhp am i pushing with these mods??

You can rig the air pump to actuate them... even without a cat. I don't remember how my buddy did it on his car, but I know it can be done. John Wise also had his car setup in this mannor. (Dunno if any of you guys know him or not...) I know they just used the air pressure created by the pump to actuate them. I want to say that you needed like a valve to contol when they would open. I think the BEST method is to use a solnoid and a RPM actuated switch.

As far as weather it is safe to plug up the split air pipe... hmm... I honestly don't know the answer to that one.

I would GUESS that your horsepower is probably about 130rwhp. Keep in mind that is only a guess...

Take care,
