Injector wiring Help
Bought a 1990 GXL with s5 JDM engine swap well the previous owner hacked into the injector wires thinking he needed to put the jdm injector harness into the N/A harness and this is the mess he made can anyone help out telling me where they go? Some have corresponding wires some don’t. Thanks

Ok here is where I get hung up I can locate all the wires as follows:
Four black/yellow wires off injectors but only two B/Y wires on harness
One light green wire with corresponding wire on harness
One light green/black with corresponding wire on harness
One solid black wire with no corresponding black wire on harness
One light green/white with no corresponding wire on harness
One light green/red with no corresponding wire
Do I splice the black/yellow wires together or what he has got it such a mess that I can’t tell what goes where. And the wires without corresponding wires on the harness leaves me stumped. And the lack of b/y wires. Anything helps thanks for your time.

Well I don't have a series five and series four is different on the early versions.
But it should be fairly straight fwd. The bottom line is that the Black/Yellow wire on the EM harness are one and the same wire. The black/yellow are spliced together as shown in my dwg. You just have to make sure that EACH injector has one of its wires going to a black/yellow. The black/yellow power does not turn on/off. It's the other wire that has a gnd pulsed to it from the ECU to operate the injector.
So you just have two black/yellow on the harness. Then run a wire from two of the injectors to one of the black/yellow and run a wire from each of the other two injectors to the other black/yellow wire.
I'm trying to say two injectors get fed from one black/yellow and the other two injectors get fed from the other black/yellow.
As shown in the dwg I attached, the Light Green wire goes to the Front Primary.
The Light Green/Red goes to the Rear Secondary.
The Light Green/White goes to the Front Secondary.
The Light Green/Black goes to the Rear Primary.
I've not a clue where the pure black wire goes. It's Probably one of the two gnd wires for the ECU that are located on the engine. I don't KNOW that. Probably is though.

You say you have a light green/white with no corresponding wire on the harness..........but in your second picute I see two light green/white spliced together??????????
Got me. Seems one could go to the ECU plug and find the corresponding wire for each injector. Then ohm out from there to the wires on the top of the engine to determine which wire is which. I'm not talking black/yellow, just the other four wires.

The wire you see is the green/white that goes to the water sensor on the filler neck. I am going to go and take a look at the ecu now and see if those whires are there. thanks

Ok I ended up tearing the whole harness apart and sure enough there were two injector plugs taped up in a ball for the secondaries so I guess he was going to try and run them as all primaries that is what sucks about taking up someone else’s handy work thanks for the help HAILERS much appreciated now I have to go and rebuild my harness.
