Okay.. I was doing some reading and I just noticed that nonturbo injectors are red and turbo injectors in 1988 are suppossed to be purple..

I happened to notice today that my 1988 TII injectors are RED... wtf?

do I have non turbo injectors?

Before I bought the car I am SURE that they were never out... so wtf could have happened here?

 

yah, I noticed they were red when I was installing them, but the injectors we yanked out of the turbo II parts car were purple if I remember correctly, so what could be wrong here?

 

no, the others are tan!

another question to add onto this thread.. Will the fuel pump work if the injectors are not hooked up to the wiring harness.. we were testing if we had fuel pressure and we dident get any at all.. I just want to make shure this is causing the problem and it's nothing elce..
