So i drive a 87 S4 turboII i did some research but maybe I'm looking at something wrong here so i looked up s4 injectors and came up with 550cc low imp tan tops but when i removed mine there purple tops so my question is are these high imp like the 88 13bt .....can't see the part number on them anymore. They look like high imp 550's, but take a multimeter to them and test to make sure.

 

on the high imps the notch should be offset rather than directly in the middle.

86 - 87.5 (low imp, square plug with notch in middle)
87.5 - 88 (high imp, square with notch off set)
89 - 91 (high imp, oval plug)

Hope that helps. I'm both high and low on my car, just have to use resistors with the low imps.
