i have 2 rx7s a 89 and 88 gtu my 88 is my parts car. and i wanna use the injectors out of it. and put them in my 89. i have already done a search on it and couldnt find the right answer.

84-85 13B NT low square center 680cc orange 195500-0900
86-87 13B NT low square center 460cc red 195500-1350
86-87 13B T low square center 550cc tan 195500-1370
88 13B NT high square offset 460cc purple 195500-1350
88 13b T high square offset 550cc purple 195500-1370
89-91 13B NT high oval center 460cc red 195500-2010
89-91 13B T high oval center 550cc purple 195500-2020

but on my 88 it has red top injectors. does that mean low impednce? the only reason i ask cause all these injectors are working perfect and on my 89 i belevie one of them is bad. so i just wanna replace them all. i already know i gotta use the injector clips from the 88. but i just wanna find the answer quick.

Just use a multimeter!

IIRC they switched to HIGH IMP injectors in 87 half way through production. So your 88 will be compatible with the 89. Just need the connectors.


Here is a question for the informed though. can you use an S5's oval connectors on the S4 harness?

I have a shiny set of S5 460's that I want to drop in and get rid of the resistor pack.
