Injector Data Request.

I did some searching the last 3 or 4 days and could not come up with the specific injector data I was looking for, so I figured I would FINALLY start a new thread on it.

What I am doing: Using 6 late generation 550cc Denso Injectors in a Nissan RB20DET. I am buring a ROM + SAFC to get this done.

Issue: I am having trouble finding the Injector Dead time for the 550cc Denso Top Feed (purple/red) top, that is used in the Stock Primary position in the FC. The part number is 195500-2020.

Sorry if somehow this was covered somewhere and I missed it.

Thanks!

I don't know that I've ever seen the time anywhere before....

Would it particularly matter in this case though? I'd just start at a rich duration after calculating backwards from the original injector size and then run it and see where you're at on the wideband.

The dead time will change whether or not resistors are present, so getting a number for the stock ones in the stock harness will only be a ballpark figure for your case anyways.....?

Good luck

The rb20 is high impedance as well, so there are no resistors in the setup. I WISH that the nissan rom was done off of ms time, at this point I would be over it. But I have to set it up in the K value for the injector data, then tune everything as target AF/R VE..

The config of the harness will not effect the dead time so much. The first chip I burned was set for the OEM 270 dead time and that was bad (stuck on), and the 2nd chip i burned I added 1/2 a ms and still the same result. It is probably not helping that the ECM is batch injection of only two ground drivers.... Uggg I wish people had the $$ for haltech...

Finally got it.

And just for the sake of FAQ'ing

195500-2020 = 550cc (mazda RX-7 turbo II primary injectors, injector lag = 0.73ms)

Thanks
