you can use the stuff in the gas station or auto parts store most people agree that the techron in the bottle is the best i like mmo personaly. i have also heard that some of the injector cleaners the the pro's use will kill your apex seals. it says on the back of the bottle do not use on rotary vehicles. so if your going that route go to a rotary specialist they can clean them or if you have a couple of days down time you can send them off to rc engineering and they can clean and balance them.

Well maybe I'll just wait untill I take apart and send the injectors in. I thought maybe I wouldn't have to go through the trouble of taking the intake apart. Have you ever done it yourself, if so is there anything tricky. This is my first rotary. I'm used to injectors sitting on top.

Injector cleaners are OK, but the problem with these cars is they used staged injectors. The secondaries don’t come on until the engine’s over 3800rpm. In normal driving, probably 80-90% of the fuel will pass through the primary injectors, meaning the secondaries don’t get anywhere near the amount of treatment they require.
Removing the injectors and having them professionally cleaned not only gets around this problem, but will do a much better job than any in-tank cleaner would. It’s a bit of a pain, but the results are worth it.
