info about my TII?

Where can I find out as much info as possible about my car, I bought it used and its my first rotary. I have someone doing a carfax report for me, but I want to find like a list of options or something like that. I know Grand Nationals have options codes on the trunk lid, do RX7's have anything like that? If so where do I look? The car is an 87 and it blue, it has a turbo its not a 2+2 and doesnt have a rear wing/spoiler. If someone can help me figure out my cars specs lemme know.

Do you have the production date???

Most of the 87 T2 were the Model FB47 which had the N332-02-000 engine assembly and R526-03 5 speed manual transmissons.

They came as two seaters, with hard suspension and with sunroof.

If it came with ABS, then it was the Model FB61 with same engine and tranny assemblies and again sunroof and hard suspension, without rear seats.

A LSD was standard on all T2 models.

The rear wing was a dealer option in 86-87 on all FCs except the Sport.

Other options for the T2 included power steering (manual R&P was standard) CD and radio upgrades, and leather.

The late 86 brochure has info on the 87 TII.
http://www.aaroncake.net/RX-7/brochure/brochure.asp

These sites also have the 88 service manual online. (The 87 and 88 are nearly the same thing).

BTW, the 87 TII didn't come with a spoiler.

Dealer option means that the dealer must install it. The 87 sport was the only 87 model year FC to come with a rear spoiler stock from the factory.

In other words, if you bought a new 87 model year RX-7 from the dealer and you wanted a spoiler, you could have the dealer drill the holes and install one, or you would have to buy a sport.
