Info on 13B Change?!
My friend is looking at buying a 2nd gen FC. There are lots of very cheap cars for sale with blown motors, I was just wondering what it will take to change out a N/A 13B? I've done swaps before on a V-6 and I-6 but never a rotary. Are the JDM spec motors higher hp then north american versions? Is the engine swap pretty straightforward, or is it tough compared too a normal piston motor?

We're just looking at droppping a N/A 13b engine, the complexity of a turbo will be left for other days. Or if the engine is nearly the same cost as the N/A then its possible, hee hee. You can buy blown engine N/A rexs around here for 500$ can.

Removing and reinstalling a rotary is no more difficult than any other motor, if anything it's compactness make it a bit easier.
There's no difference in output between Jap and US engines, just more emission control equipment for US cars.
