is there a bar by the pass. foot well? and there should be pads where your knees might hit on the walls. the seats look like the infini ed. though.

I'm no expert, and can't really tell by the last pic, but it does looks like he has that foot bar on the pass. side. Agreed on the seats though.

You also have some nice looking wheel there.

Yes it has the foot bar on the passenger side floor. As well has the rx-7 knee pads.

Sounds Infini. It's possible those things could have been added, but from what I've heard most people dislike the foot bar, so when people add Infini stuff they often exclude that bar from the additions. I'd say your best bet is to take your VIN to a Mazda dealer and see if they could look it up. If they can tell you then you'd know for sure.

Btw I'm jealous. Except for the S5 part. I enjoy a few subtle differences the S4 has.

It looks to have shade green paint so I would say it is an Infini IV.

Yes it is a dark green color. I have heard this color is only used on Infini's?

That's interesting, I didn't know the Infini's also had special colors. Tell us more about the car. Miles? Compression? How does it drive? I'm very curious, this seems to be a nice specimen.

It has actually 98,000 original kilometers because it is a Japanese car. Im not sure about the compression on it but it drives extremely well for a car of its age, very strong turbo engine and i am very impressed on how it performs for a vehicle with very little modifications.

So about 60,000 miles. Very nice. I take it this is your first RX-7? Is it also your first sports car? These perform and handle pretty well. The rotary isn't the only reason we love these cars, haha

With these cars it's really in the eye of the beholder, but certainly more than a TII in comparable condition.

And what are the TII's usually worth around $5000 correct?

It'll depend on who sees it and how much they want it, and also how bad the owner wants to get rid of it. My '87 TII with 86k miles and needing a new driver's side door, some related body repair, and mediocre compression on the motor was sold to me for $1300US, but on the East or West coast it might have gone for $3500-$4500. Additionally, the OP installed brand new injectors, new mufflers, new UIM, new shift boot and shifter bushings, NEW TIRES HECK YES and a few other things. So maybe it would have gone for even more somewhere else. I'm glad it didn't, I definitely lucked out, and yet there are a number of guys who have gotten even sweeter deals. All that money I saved just went into my rebuild, haha

Look under the car... the factory struts are red... KYB up front, Tokico in the rear, and have "specially tuned for Infini" stickers on them, as well as the logo. You should also be able to tell from the VIN and the paint code, as only the Infinis came stock in that green.

Unfortunately, it has aftermarket Tein suspension so i can tell. As well its a japanese car so it doesn't have a VIN number just a chassis number, i will find out the paint code asap.
