One, learn how to spell.
i-n-t-e-r-e-s-t-i-n-g
A-u-s-t-r-a-l-i-a-n
Two, learn how to construct proper sentences with punctuation.

People will take you a lot more seriously, especially with text-based communcation like this online forum.

Is English not your native language?

If anything thing second gen's may have gone up a little over the last couple of years. 2nd gen's under $8k generally need a rebuild, and all the 20 year bits are falling off. There are quiet a few here in very good nick. Most have had some modification. Those excessively modified generally always go for less. My stock TII with wolf and a hugh pile of receipts was valued at $15k by the RAA here (one of the automotive valuers), which caught me by surprise. The issue is fuel will probably hit $2 a litre and these cars will become unsaleable. There's a 137 Rx7's (all type) listed on www.tradingpost.com.au alone, this time last year it was under 50!

you can get FC's shipped in but they have to go through a compliance process, there's also restrictions in some states preventing older model cars being inported, it all cost money, so a $2k USD FC could cost you $8k+ buy the time you convert the currency and pay everyone with their hand out.... then you get to look under the hood and spend more

Can't sell the hamburger due to Mad Cow disease and restrictions on beef exports.. Nor chicken burgers because of Avian Flu.

why wouldn't you aussies just import them from Japan then? I was in australia for 3 months 2 years ago, and did notice that cars all around were more expensive but $10-15k for a S5 seems excessive seeing how easily you can import from Japan.

THey do import them from japan.

Most people like to see/drive a car before they buy it though.

That said, fc's are a bit rare"ish" over here.

i recently imported a s5 t2 all up cost of the car, shipping, compliance, registration it cost me 9500 australian dollars it runs well has done 111,000 ks and has some nice mods. apart from needing a new clutch and alternator belt its in good nick. i'd be lucky to find s5 t2 in good condition for under 12000 so ive saved a few gs.

Im from Perth in Western Australia. We cannot import Japanese Cars more than 15 years old, i have no idea why, there are so many rust heap pieces of crap on the roads.

I only know of one place that sells decent s4 and s5 RX7's in perth. Its a shame! The average price is around $10-15K AUS

I found my car in the local paper, lucky me

PERTH! Home town of Pendulum! They rinse it out!

My friend from Australia lived here for about 6 years and went back to Australia for about a year. Anyway he took his bronco POS (he paid like 2200 USD) it was like a 91 with an asston of miles on it. Im not sure how much he spent to get the car legal down there but he did (probably between the lines of 2-5 grand). Anyway long story short he sold it as soon as he got there for 15k USD.

I guess broncos are legends down there or something. I don’t know what would drive some one to pay 15 Gs for a beat up old *** 4x4. Are they rare down there or what?
