Wuts the difference between the gtu and gtu,s can someone give me specs on both cars.i here the gtus has turbo 2 parts can anyone give me specs on both cars.cause iam about to buy a 90 gtu so if anyone can get that information back i,d really appreciate it.

 

Well a Series 5 89-91 GTU is the base model.

The GTUs has no sunroof ,4.3 rearend, LSD,4 piston brakes,TII suspension, and some things a GTUs guy would be able to tell you.

A Series 4 GTU(88) is the same thing as a GTUs but it can come with a sunroof and has the regular 4.10 rearend.

Of course the engines are different though because of the series change but pretty much the GTUs was a revamp of the 88 GTU.

 

actually, there are some GTUs models with Sunroofs. Ted confirmed that the other day.

 

yes the only options you could get with the GTUs were the power sunroof, a/c, and power mirrors. those were the only three options. the GTUs has the s5 t2 wheels as well as the brakes and suspension setup. those are the only t2 features it has

 

Thanks for the info cause everyone made such a big deal about the gtus and not to much of a big deal about the gtu.one more question how much lighter is the gtus and gtu from the gxl,convertable and t2 model.

 

They did come with sunroofs? Damn then I saw one a few months ago for sale. The interior was riced out with a Boost gauage and tach on a NA but I was confused.

It had a sunroof but said GTU and had everything S5 on it that a GTUs would have.
