Indiglo Gauges Installed
Yes the new ones are flexible plastic, so they just slip over the needles and you don't have to remove them (which is really nice) I just have to take them back off so I can paint the needles so they stand out better, and reinstall my bulbs to illuminate the trip and odo meters.
I also have a Pioneer EL display head unit, and they do set off things nicely. Now to install the A'PEXi temp gauge and ditch the crap autometer gauges...

These are the gauges I just got in the mail. I will be installing them next wed. I just need to get some time off work. Great quality from the looks of it and I'm sure it will be a smooth install thanks to FC3S writeup. Its a nice cosmetic upgrade if you guys want one... I'm usually more concerned about a mod increasing my hp numbers but these impressed me so i bought em

you can also get them at www.corksport.com
Yeah if you want to spend $119 for gauges that have a big CS written across them you can
IMHO the white indiglo ones look far better. They have a red "redline" (novel concept huh?) and they look OEM during the daylight. I suppose you could use the indiglo ones during the night without the glowing effect, but why would you?

sor forgot to post the link these are mine89-91 reverse indiglo gaudges
I have a spare set of s4 TII gauges if he needs a template. Thats the only type i didnt see up there. Let me know, I'd like to have a set--esp if he could to white indiglo (green and blue dont really match the orange)
Cork Sport has a full listing of them (little more than ebay price, they'd probably price match even). I'm getting silver reverse for my S4 TII this week hopefully. Those look great in person.
Goodbye dated orange look! Just need an aftermarket deck now. That'll also free up the space for 3 gauges which are Autometer Pro Comp Ultralite... all silver face gauges.
:thumbs-up:

I got mine in last night... Not too bad to do.
But I took out that front light illumination thing. Now I really can't see the needles. And if I were to paint them black they still won't be that visable. Oh well I guess.... the oranges is gone.

I have an 88, used fc3s.org as a base but mostly just figured it out for myself. It really isn't too hard at all, just remember where everything goes. Also if you have white fage gauges, I would suggest painting the neddles red, I did that on mine and they look real nice.
