indash lcd done finnally!! Pics
Jeez, you guys been eating your Hater Tots?
Looks good, nice custom fab work. I'm not a big fan of the red though, but its your car not mine.
Be careful not to hit that screen, LCDs break VERY easily. I broke an $1,800 one at work a few weeks ago, very fragile.

TV in a car is not my sort of thing unless it somehow give you 5 more lbs/ft of torque but i do think it would much better and dignified if you did a matted black finish instead of the red

Too bad most of you jackasses with stolen photoshops couldn't even photoshop something better in your car. Regardless, it looks about 80x better in person, and it's not there just for TV or video games, it's also the PC, which, is his job, he can store drivers/connect to any wireless AP/burn cd's/hop online to troubleshoot or contact me while he's on site (since I work with him) It has about 5000x different uses, and yes, a laptop would work just fine, but it's a bit bulky and requires setting everything up, and with where we work, hah, good luck getting a decent one.
As for the cleanliness on the inside of the car, ****, where we live, it's almost impossible to keep a car clean, and considering it's one of his only vehicles and he has to haul **** back and forth (mainly parts for his DSM, which are rather dirty) it makes it even harder. Give the guy a break, it functions for what he needs it to do, and it doesn't look too bad in person (the camera makes it look like shiat). And those gauges are discontinued, the bastard outbid me on the last set!

definately good custom work ...
my friend has a computer in his car, but he hasnt gone to this length ...
at any rate ... its different, but the work is good
**** what everyone else thinks ... if it really has that many uses, then you just completed a mod that serves a purpose to you and thats what matters ....

Sanding is done its glass smooth with the dvd/cdplayer installed. Red may not of been the best color however it only takes a few min to change the color. Rat is right it has a whole ton more uses then just movies and music. It has wireless i-net, gps navigation,mp3,dvd,cdburner,mp3 ripper, and dvd ripper. Future data loging from a wideband or aftermarket ecu would be simple to add in. The screen is down lower then i would like but my initial try at putting it higher looked like shiat. Also with it up higher the angle of the screen only looked good from strait on. Having it lower and at a angle make the screen look good for both the driver and the passenger. And who cares if i can see it while im actually driving. I would have to be a idiot to take my eyes off the road while driving my vert that I just did all the body work and repainted. If I need to hook on the internet or get some map directions the passenger can do it or i will pull over and do it. I have been trying out differnt types of software that I can use to voice activate music and the mapsoftware. The music works about 75% of the time on voice command. Not perfect but with some trial and error im sure i will have it 100% handfree. Obviously there are some things that cant be automated.

Hmm....I like it, it looks really nice, and unless you plan on painting the rest of the interior red then what was the point of painting that one part red? Im asking cause I dont think I saw u posting that the rest would go red also. Also, where is the Tower/CPU located at so you can slide in the cds to burn, because I dont think they sell any indash cd burning radios for the car. I would like to know where you keep a cpu big enuff for that. Unless u really are trying to pull our legs with the whole CD Burner, and DVD Ripper thing.
