Increasing performance and losing weight ideas

Amen, just quit your job also so that way you don't get fired for looking at the next parts you can't afford

Mostly because people who de-power their racks do it incorrectly. I've seen people simply remove the belt leaving the steering very heavy. I've also seen people "burp" MOST of the fluid out of the rack and plug the holes, leaving random heavy resistance/steering lockup. When I did mine, I looped the lines on the rack and removed everything else. This worked for a while, but the flex coupling on the quill shaft wore after a few seasons and resulted in quite a bit of slop in the steering.
just weighed my FC yesterday. 2680 with me in it and a full tank of gas. so the car is just under 2500lbs without me in it. It is an s5 GTU by the way.
no a/c, p/s, heater, full interior still has working sunroof and power belts.
had the jack, spare, and tools in the car too.
