improvements over the years on a 13b

i remember seeing a thread awhile back.
that showed the differences between 13b's and the improvments but i cant find it anywhere.
does anyone recall a thread like this or a site?
if so can you please show me the way!

when you say improvements, are you referring to the main engine internals (rotors, housings, etc)? Or all the stuff attached to the engine like the manifolds, oiling system, or fuel & emissions controls?

i mean like

ok the s4 turbos have the lowest compression but they are heavier and weaker

so then the s5 have higher compression but they are made stronger and lighter
also have harden stationary gears (i think)

the fds
and the rx8 renesis how ever i dont kno jack squat! and thats why im asking if there is a faq or something about these types of pros and cons and improvements over each series.
