Juat recently purchased a 1990 rx7 turbo imported. Having some issues I'm trying to resolve. Main issue is the car just wants to spit and sputter under wide open throttle at around 4k rpm. I did find the front mount intercooler does have a hole in it by pressure testing the system. Going to be replacing that tonight. Is there any other go to diagnostics you guys would recommend?

 

Sounds like a blocked injector or fuel pump low pressure or faulty fuel pressure regulator

 

yes I am wondering if it is my secondary injectors. As revving in neutral is fine, but when under a load and driving is when the problem happens. Put my walboro 255 pump in last night and still the same problem. Going to check tps, injectors and vacuum lines tonight. Which nipples on the uim can be blocked off and which is recommended for what

it was indeed my secondary injectors. Replaced and running great
