Im using FuelCutController and Clutch Is Slipping Someone HELP!!
hello all. i got a fuel cut controller and when im reving around 5-6000 rpm my clutch slips. i put in a street and strip clutch plate from racingbeat. and it still slips. i know with the FCC it will boost you up to 10 psi. and when i take the FCC off my car sputters when reving to high. is this the same problem for all T2's?

say im launching around 3k then once i get up to 5-6k. no id say like 6k. the car is boosting like nuts. then i feel the clutch slipping.
when it slips. i shift to 2nd. then it slips right away. i maybe it could be my clutch. but then again i upgraded to a street n strip disc. should i change to pressure plate also?

If your clutch is slipping, your rpms will continue to climb faster than your car is moving. The rpms should continue to climb faster with a slipping clutch.
If the rpms are not moving and you just installed a fcd, you might be hitting fuel cut. Is the fcd new or used?

How much grease did you use on the t/o bearing? If there is too much on it, then it will get thrown all over the disc and plate. Also, check the clutch hydraulics to make sure the clutch is fully engaging. Rock on.

Go ACT pressure plate and clutch.
Try the 3 gear pull. Standing still, rev the car to 4k. Then engage 3rd gear and let it go slowly, till it grabs and let it go.
It will ieither slip and go to 5 or 6k or stall if there is no slip. Make sure to be ready to engage the clutch again or you'll burn it. ok. How many miles on the pressure plate?
