UIM: Upper Intake Manifold.
LIM: Lower Intake Manifold.
bump is when you post a message in a thread you created with the word "bump" to have it bumped to the top of the forum. This will get you banned from the 2nd section, if you do it.

All of this is covered in the FAQ. Please Read it.

upper intake manifold(uim) and lower intake manifold(lim)

bump is basically "bumping" your thread to the top of the list so people see it easier

hope this helps

UIM - upper intake manifold
LIM - lower intake manifold

The FAQ threads stickied at the top of the forum have all the rest.

"bump" is a dummy post just to push the thread up to the top of the list.
Once in a while is OK but too often is bad manners.

I believe this means "I'm sorry, but what does this stand for?"

Does that help clear it up? If not for you, how about other people?

BTW, Bumps are forbidden here in the 2nd gen technical section, and will be deleted when found by admins and moderators.

And thread closed... questions have been answered multiple times and have been covered in the FAQ for FC sticky thread found at the top of the 2nd gen Technical section.
