hahahaha. i dont see any of you starting from scratch with a GTUs.

try this on for size (tentitavely (sp?) since i dont actually own the car yet)

but my plans for it. not only will i be waxing the engine bay, i will be stripping the car down bare (nothing but metal) painting the entire car (inside and out) polishing every piece of metal before i put it back in

well..... you get the idea....

and Rarest, i already got you beat because i dont use the word "hella" except to make fun of people who do

89GTUs, If you say your GTUs is "the nicest looking", then you better start waxing that engine bay. Mine looks nice all over. *grin*

When it comes to external looks you got me beat but no way in hell your car looks better on the inside, id place money on that bet. Also, Id place money that I smoke you at the drag strip...hahahahah

Yo,

89GTUs, you'd be losing money on the interior as well. The car has 60K on it. No rips, no tears. I have a suede Sparco wheel on order, I have a suede OMP shift ****, with imported Italian glove leather boots for the shifter and ebrake lever.

The dragstrip? Maybe. I'd try to sabotage you by trying to stuff grapefruit in your Power Extreme tips, but they'd just rattle around in there. *wink*

once that last post is mine fc3chris but the computers at school have a glitch that saves the last user that was on this site. REDLINE was probably using this computer and when I automatically logged on it was under his name, but I am the one that posted the remark on the te37's

Dude I see that you are from San Ho. If this is who I think it is you have a Red 1989 GTUs with those light/chrome windshield wiper water squirters? Even if this is not who I think it is DUDE his car looks brand new.

Yo,

Well, I'll guess I'll spill the beans.

1st run: Max Power: 140.8 Max Torque: 113.6

2nd run: Max Power: 140.3 Max Torque: 115.1

3rd run: Max Power: 140.6 Max Torque: 114.6

All runs were done in 3rd gear. Max power was at 7,000 rpm. Max torque was around 4,750 rpm.

The A/F meter said I was running a little bit lean in the midrange, and rich up top.

I wish I had a scanner, you can definitely see the VDI spike when it comes on around 6,400rpm.
