I'm running again, but...
I'm running again, thanks to everyone who helped me figure it out, but i'm boiling coolant again and it's still hard to start. it's not overheating according to the guage, but maybe 1 out of every 4 times when i turn it off i can hear bubbling or boiling coolant
sounds like your coolant seals are going south.
when this happens, it's usually the engine leaking combustion into the coolant passenges. this causes exessive pressure, and blows it out the overflow.
a bottle of ceramic sealer ($12-15 depending on where you shop) should help this out. just as long as you're not burning much coolant, that should do the trick.
