well like the title says, im not getting any exhaust sound. i thought the exhuast manifold might be cracked but it took it off and it wasnt. i think its coming out of a hole just above the manifold in the intermediate housing. i have no idea what the hole does or is there for, but thats my best guess cause there seems to be built up carbon and **** all around it. i am thinking something in the exhaust is pluged, most likely the cat cause thats really the only thing that it could be. well enough rambling, im just pissed off. so any ideas would be great thanks.

 

Sound or flow? Can you put you hands at the tail pipe and feel the exhaust?

is the exhaust on the engine? yes everything is in place. i changed the manifold and in the process of restarting i flooded so i did an atf trick. when it started the smoke was bilowing from under the hood and hardly coming from the pipes. i tell u there is a hole in the middle plate between the rotor housings that the exhaust is now coming from. i am totally bafled.

 

Could you elaborate on the "Hole" in the center plate. Also, you asked about sound and not smoke. I'll take it that you ment that your exhaust was not flowing and therefore no sound. More info on the hole would be helpful because there should be no "hole" on the middle housing that exhaust is coming from. Hell If I remember correctly the only "Holes" on the middle housing are the intake ports and those would be covered up by your manifold.

 

ill have to get some pics cause i have explained it as best i can. in the hanes manual it shows this "hole" being pluged by something, i dunno what. i dont know what is wrong but its kinda getting me worried and pissed off.
