im looking to buy a second gen, a few ?s
"I am selling my 1987 Turbo II RX7 . The car runs Great. Rebuilt engine. I have done many tune ups on it. Needs to Replace EGR Valve to pass smog. EGR Valve ($50) i just dont have time for it any more. $2000 or BEst Offer. Best offer. get car. new Apexi blow valve. sounds clean"
does that sound about right? im not sure how much egr valves cost on second gens, but for my second gen camaro, it was only like 12$
ive also been told its his obligation to smog it before i buy it? i offered to pay for the egr, plus smog, and a lil extra for the trouble, but only if it passes smog, still waiting for an email back, is that unreasonable?
and last, does it sound like its worth 2k?

In California, the seller of the car is the one responsible for getting the smog cert before selling the car. So if it passes smog, $2k is an awesome deal. If you have the license plate number, check the history on it yourself on the CA BAR website.
